The Summary : Islamic Revival تجديد الإسلام

Two verses clear any doubt : Allah has now revealed the best HADITH, a Book fully consistent within itself ( أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابًا ) (see full verse 39:23)- ( فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُون )Then in what HADITH after it (Quran) will they believe?(Quran;77:50)(Quran;7:185) (Quran;45;6), Also check out (4:88), (15:87),  (52:34)  (2:23), (10:38), (11:13), (17:88)]

Once Prophet (ﷺ ) left this world he did not leave any book binded in two covers, not even Quran. First Caliph Abu Bakr Siddiq was not prepared to collect and bind Quran as a book because, he said, how could he do something not done by Prophet (ﷺ). On persuasion of of Umer bin Khattab he finally collected Quran. After him Umer remained Caliph for ten years but he did not compile Quran as a book due to same reason. The 3rd Caliph had to do this job to save Muslims form any discord or variations by making a committee to work under his supervision to compile Quran. He decided to keep it in dialect of Quraish, the language of the Prophet (ﷺ) and burnt all other copies. This was end of any trouble or difference. Quran is book of Allah revealed to Prophet (ﷺ) but compiled and binded as a book by Rightly Guided Caliphs , hence the Quran in the form of book is Sunnah of Rightly Guided Caliphs, for which all Muslims of any sect or group are obliged to them, a great honor for them. However none of the Four Rightly Guided Caliphs, considered it appropriate to make similar arrangements to write or compile “Hadith-Book”.

The Sunnah (practice/ acts) of Rightly Guided Caliphs, Companion not to write “Hadith books” is in line with the command of Quran (verses quoted above) & Command of Prophet (ﷺ). Abu Hurairah narrated, Prophet (ﷺ) had prohibited them for writing Hadiths and said: “Do you want a book other than God’s book? The communities before you were only caused to stray by the books they wrote along with God’s book.” [Taqyid-ilm]. Though later some companions were allowed to make private notes for poor memory. letters, financial matters etc but no Hadith book. Caliph Umar bin Khattab burnt, banned Hadith Books for the same reason. All later Caliphs followed his Sunnah, so in the Collective Sunnah of Four Caliphs is Only One Book, The Book of Allah, The Noble Quran. No other book of Hadith or Sunnah. The Prophet (ﷺ) in his will had already commanded the Muslims to strictly adhere to the Sunnah of Caliphs [Abi Dawud 4607]. All Companions understood it well and obeyed the Sunnah of Caliphs, no one protested and none wrote any Hadith book till all passed away. The 2nd century was the century of start of Bid’a/ deviations and disobedience to command of Prophet (ﷺ). It appears from their actions that many learned people of 2nd century and later up to this day, consider themselves to be wiser and more knowledgeable than the Prophet (ﷺ), who according to their perception forgot or made errors, firstly by not himself making arrangements to leave Quran and Hadith as binded books and secondly ordering to follow Sunnah of Caliphs who also “mistakenly” did not write Hadith Books rather banned it, thus destroying all the valuable Hadith collections. Hence from 2nd Century onwards Hadith books started to appear, today there are 75 Hadith books.

One must keep in mind, that on one side is Quran [check out verses; (52:34) (2:23), (10:38), (11:13), (17:88)] , The Prophet (ﷺ) , Rightly Guided Caliphs, pious Companions and opposed to them are Religious scholars of second century Hijrah and later till to date, who disobeyed , the legitimate nominees (4 Caliphs) and resorted to write Hadith books rather than continuing with the policy of oral transmission of Hadiths given by Prophet(ﷺ). What are the advantages of writing Hadith books, is not under discussion, its blasphemous to question the wisdom an knowledge of Prophet(ﷺ). However the time has proved the truthfulness of wisdom of decision, Sunnah of Prophet(ﷺ) and Rightly Guided Caliphs, Hadiths books have surpassed extra books of Jews (38 volumes of Talmud) and 23 extra books of Christians. Muslims have neglected Quran to the extent that many scholars do not understand if some things are quoted form Quran, they like references form Hadith Books, specially of their favorite man. To justify this Bid’a, deviation, disobedience and blasphemy they invented many new Bid’a further disobeying Prophet(ﷺ) who in same Hadith had said: You must then follow my sunnah and that of the rightly-guided caliphs. Hold to it and stick fast to it. Avoid novelties, for every novelty is an innovation, and every innovation is an error. [ Sunan Abi Dawud 4607, Ibn Majah Hadith#40,Tirmidhi 266.] This farewell exhortation has been practically torn in to pieces in this particular matter, as if it does not exist, however this Hadith is quoted extensively to ridicule and insult the Muslims of opponent secs on petty matters.

Quran is the Book of Allah, which is the basis of Islam, Sunnah and Hadiths are other sources. Sunnah and Mutawatir Hadiths are transferred form generation to generation they remains secure, but Ahad Hadith has many limitations which can be overcome through criteria laid down by Prophet(ﷺ), unfortunately ignored by Hadith book writers and scholars. There is urgent need to remove all Bid’a / devotions to revive Islam to its original Perfected state of 1st century Hijra. Hence this intellectual web based virtual  “Islamic Revival Movement” تجديد الإسلام تحریک (حركة تجديد الإسلام) . through Dawah and Dialogue using cyber space and social media. The material has been made available in English and in Urdu.

Whoever recommends and helps a good cause becomes a partner therein: And whoever recommends and helps an evil cause, shares in its burden: And Allah hath power over all things. (Quran;4:85)

Welcome to this dedicated platform aimed at fostering a deep understanding of the Islam through Quran. As the final and comprehensive book from Allah, the Quran serves as the ultimate source of divine guidance for humanity. It was revealed to the last Prophet and Messenger, Muhammad (peace be upon him), and covers a vast array of topics, offering timeless wisdom and guidance for individuals and societies alike. The Quran is the foundation of the perfected Deen (way of life), Islam, which unfortunately has experienced deviation by adherents over time due to straying from the teachings of the Quran.

While sending Adam out of Eden, Allah said that : “… Then when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance (Quran) will neither go astray ˹in this life˺ nor suffer ˹in the next˺” (Quran;20:123)

Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said that: “if one seeks guidance elsewhere (Quran), Allah leads astray” (Tirmidhi: 2906, extract)

It should be clear that Allah has provided comprehensive and lucid guidance along with fundamental principles. He hasn’t left believers reliant on the interpretations (تاویل),of people, which can often be skewed and divisive leading to the creation of various sects within the community of faithful. Instead of engaging in protracted and unfruitful debates and disputes, Muslims should concentrate on the ‘Command Verses’ (آيَاتٌ مُّحْكَمَاتٌ) of the Quran, which serve as the bedrock of the scripture and are referred to as the ‘Essence of the Book’ (أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ) by the Quran. The pivotal Hadith Jibreel,’ the ‘Essence of Sunnah’ (ام السنہ), provides a comprehensive summary of ‘Fundamentals of Islam’ based on  ‘Command Verses’ of the Quran. This divinely ordained approach leads to the straight path and preserves Muslim unity.

And hold firmly to the rope of Allah (Quran) all together and do not become divided.. (Quran;3:103)

“The Messenger will say, Lord, my people did indeed discard the Quran”(Quran;25:30)

The failure to adopt this straightforward approach can be attributed to the regrettable reality that many scholars like earlier communities (Jews and Chrsitians), deviate from these God-given fundamentals in an attempt to rationalise their man-made sectarian beliefs and practices calling it Islam. By rigorously adhering to the Quranic ‘Command Verses’ and the fundamentals of faith derived from them, as succinctly summarised in the ‘Hadith Jibreel,’ the multitude of sects can be deconstructed. In certain cases, non-Quranic concepts, some of them even contradict the Quran, necessitate thorough reevaluation. Such a meticulous approach holds the potential to eradicate false beliefs and practices, fostering a more cohesive and unified understanding of Islam. This is the simple, straight message of Quran without interpretations (تَاۡوِیۡلَہٗۤ), this is the Message (رساله) of Revival (التجديد) of  the Perfected Din Islam’ ( أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ)’.

An in-depth study of the Quran and Islamic religious history reveals startling facts.
